Welcome to The Medical Centre Online

Check_throatThe doctors and staff at The Medical Centre surgery in Maidstone are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.

We pride ourselves on being a disabled friendly service. There is easy access for disabled patients to the buildings with free and ample parking facilities around the surgery. Disabled patients are welcome to telephone the surgery upon arrival and ask for assistance into the building if they require help and our staff will be happy to assist. Partially sighted patients may request a large print copy of our patient information leaflet from reception. We operate an induction loop system that is advertised in the reception area, so patients suffering from a hearing disability may request use of the system. We are happy to encourage all disabled patients the option of providing feedback on the service and facilities offered.

Friends & Family Test

From the 1st December 2014 all GP practices are required to ask patients the Friends & Family test questions that will be monitored by NHS England on a monthly basis. The two questions are as follows:

  • How likely are you to recommend our GP Surgery to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
  • If we could change one thing about your care or treatment to improve your experience, what would it be?

Please feel free to offer us your opinion of how you think we measure up against these questions by clicking on the 'take our survey' button at the bottom of this page.
