Proposal to Reduce Practice Boundary

Proposal by The Medical Centre to reduce practice boundary

The Medical Centre wishes to apply to reduce the practice’s current agreed practice boundary area.

The practice intention is to provide NHS Services to patients currently registered with the practice, but future registrations of patients will be restricted to ME14 and ME15 (with the exception of Stockbury and Brishing Lane, Brishing Lane other than ME15 postcode) and babies born, fostered and adopted children who become resident in the household to patients currently registered with the practice.

This would mean over time a natural reduction of patients registered with the practice who reside in post codes other than ME14 and ME15

Reasons for proposal:
 Geography
 Increasingly untenable list size

Any comments / concerns should be sent for the attention of the Practice Manager at wkccg.northumberlandsurgery@nhs.net
